Yes, you have to download it again. It's technically the same "files", yes, but they are encrypted and optimized to different platforms. Just copy/pasting Battlenet files to steam will not work, since the network would be looking for BattleNet connections, not steam. Destiny 2 Beyond Light Steam not downloading.
